A festival dedicated to gardening 
and environmental conservationGreenFest is an educational nature festival designed to give the Tampa Bay community an opportunity to learn more about the care and cultivation of indigenous plants and flowers. This annual event is held at Plant Park on the historical campus of the University of Tampa.

The Friends of Plant Park, a non-profit volunteer organization, initiated GreenFest in 1997. The proceeds from GreenFest have allowed the restoration and additional enhancement of the historical garden, located in the heart of downtown Tampa.


GreenFest 2016 will be held on Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3,  from 9AM to 4PM in HB Plant Park, on the campus of the University of Tampa at the corner of the Hillsborough River and Kennedy Boulevard.  This years speaker are as follows:

Saturday April 2

10 am      Jim Hawk       Orchid Repotting/mounting demonstration

11 am       Bob Dickey    Compost Happens

12 am       Nicole Pinson     Butterflies
